Welcome To Fun

This blog was made for Communication class at College of Western Idaho. If there is stuff on the site that doesn't make sense, don't worry, just focus on the stuff that does. After my class is complete, I will be keeping up with it for all you fun gamers.

Set Sail Me Lads OCP2

Have you ever what to command your own ship, sail the stars, fight monsters on new worlds. Rogue Trader gives you all that and more. In this second part of the OctoberCelebration we’ll be visiting the unknown among the stars. In Dark Heresy you are a small acolyte with very little hope of survival in the vast darkness of emperor’s enemies. In Rogue Trader we change the scene. Here you are part of a huge family. These families take the title Rogue Traders. These families do anything from trade to waging war. You are one of the highest offices of a ship under the control of the Rogue Trader family. It is up to you and your fellow offices to decide what role you will play in the grim dark future.

You are a Rogue Trader, it’s your turn to determent your own fate. As a Rogue Trader you have a family fortune backing you and a ship protecting you. You have free reign to roam the galaxy. You determine the fates of thousands. It is you who determine what will happen in Rogue Trader.

There are two new aspects in Rogue Trader that were not available in Dark Heresy, the obvious, space ships. You are a commander of anything from a small raider to a light cruiser. These small city size ships are crew by thousands of imperial citizens. With this ship you will encounter alien planets, other ships, and unknown dangers. The other aspect is Acquisition. In Dark Heresy you had thrones; in Rogue Trader you have Acquisition points. This represents huge sums of money and reputation. With this you can build large amount of weapons, other ships, and even planets.
